Dog Boarding
Myownly in Monroe doesn't have a one-size-fits-all policy. We understand that dogs have personalities, problems, behaviors and abilities. Pet Nannies are extremely aware of the little but important touches; geriatric boarding dogs needing extra bedding or late exercise sessions, juvenile boarding dogs benefiting from gentle, frenquent and consistent interactions. These special touches make for the best dog boarding experience possible for your canine companions.
The dog boarding kennels at Myownly Boarding Kennel in Monroe are zone heated/cooled, fully enclosed and designed for the unique needs of your dog companion. All dog sleeping areas are indoors. These long runs have short dividers between to provide cleanliness and some privacy. Each day your boarding dog will enjoy:
- An off-the-floor bed or camp cot with fleece or a blanket
- California Natural Dry dog food and home cooked chicken/cheese mixed in when needed
- Fresh non-chlorinated well water
- Safe toys/kongs for entertainment
- Soothing music or pet CDs played 24 hours
We clean each run as often as is necessary all through the day, and each pet is exercised outside of its spacious indoor run AM/PM for no additional charge. This close contact allows Myownly caretakers many opportunities to recognize any special needs or potential problems with our boarding dog friends.
Playtime For Pets
The two outside play areas are surrounded by 6 foot fences. Our huge, new turfed play yard is fully covered to allow for the Premium Dog Boarding package that you may choose even during our NW rainy months in Monroe. All dogs boarding at Myownly are well supervised all day, and secure and comfortable at night. Premium boarding dogs enjoy individualized care and play programs with Myownly pet lovers.
We love to care for your aging dog companion. Our pet nannies will make certain that our premium geriatric guests get at least 3 short but interesting outings to stimulate mind and muscles.

Dog Vaccines
We require proof of DHPPC and Rabies every three years (or per your veterinarian) and Bordetella annually. Your veterinarian will check a fecal sample at least once a year. We recommend more frequent checks if you and your pet visit the Seattle area dog parks or multi-pet rest areas as your travel. Please booster at least 5 days prior to dog boarding at Myownly Boarding Kennel.

About Treats and Toys
Certainly you may bring special food/treats for your boarding dog. Please store your dog's dry food in sealable plastic baggies. We will supply anything else needed. If it is necessary for you to bring personal bedding or toys, unfortunately we cannot guarantee they will be returned. We will try our best, but we are focused on spending our time caring for your pets -- and sometimes we are unable to keep tabs on their belongings.
We recommend that your pets wear a flat collar with ID/Rabies tag anytime they are away from home, but please take off any training collars before checking-in your animals.

Doggy Daycare
We provide doggy day care on weekdays from 8 am – 5 pm.
This includes group play activities with 2-3 social and compatible dogs. Dogs cannot be intact. Doggy daycare/summer camp time is well-supervised. Basic commands are reinforced. It includes pool time during the warm months.
