Testimonials

We are proud to have dozens of testimonials, and we value the feedback of each of our clients.  Here is a sampling of what our clients have said about Myownly Boarding Kennel:

Cathi with Zepp and Toots
“I have known Cathi Tower since 1987 when she first moved into the area with plans to open a boarding kennel.  Over the years I have watched the kennel grown and have been consistently impressed with the facilities and quality of the care provided to the boarded animals. Cathi and her staff all have considerable experience working with dogs and cats.  They provide compassionate care for the animals that are left in their charge while the owners are away.  They are able to recognize medical problems and are competent to administer medications if needed.  I am happy to recommend Myownly Boarding Kennel to our clients…”

Many, many thanks for taking such great care of my elderly dog Izzie while I am away. It is so nice to be able to go off to sea for three weeks knowing that he is not only well taken care of but will even be enjoying his “vacation” in Monroe! It is about an hour’s drive from my house in Seattle up to Myownly, but that drive is worth every second. I really appreciate your care and concern for the animals, your flexibility in scheduling and overall great customer service, and your cheerful willingness to deal with unforeseen situations (forgotten dog food, diarrhea, etc., etc.). We’ll be back soon!
Olav, Seattle 1/6/10

My two dogs, a Duck Tolling Retriever and Lab Rottweiler mix have been boarded here five times this year. The owner and dedicated staff are great and treat all the animals with love and care. The dogs have received plenty of attention, play time and care. When the dogs are here, I know that they are being treated well and cared for properly. When I pick them up, the guys are clean and happy...they have had a great time at "dog camp". HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

“As a board-certified veterinary behavior specialist, I treat many anxious and aggressive dogs in my practice.  Myownly Boarding Kennel is one of the few facilities I trust with my patients.  They seem to understand the importance of giving these dogs extra space and avoiding the triggers that provoke aggression.  They do not approach my patients with the attitude that they are going to “train” them or “fix” their aggression problems by being confrontational, but rather they respect the value of allowing these dogs to develop a comfort level with their emploees by avoiding confrontations.  They provide a valuable service for my clients who often have difficulty finding acceptable boarding options for their dogs.

“We have known the staff at Myownly Boarding Kennel for 17 years.  During this time they have taken very good care of many of my patients.  The dedicated staff does not hesitate to seek prompt medical treatment for our patients if needed during their stay…”

“I frequently refer my clients to Myownly Boarding Kennel for their boarding needs. I know the staff, the care they provide their own pets, and I know the quality of care extends to their boarders.”
