When I was looking for a kennel I was pleasantly surprised that Myownly invited me to see the entire kennel before making a decision. Even though this is an hour's drive from my home I took advantage of the offer. The kennel is clean, not too big and looks well cared for. But it was the staff that clinched the deal- answering all my questions and giving lots of information on the daily routine of how they care for the dogs. "I recently had to board my two dobermans for 2 weeks. I had no idea where to take them. Myownly proved to be an excellent choice! The two are rescued dobes and inseparable. The kennel worked with me to ensure they had a space to share to ease any anxiety/separation issues. While away, I received two emails on their status, including photos, and a call prior to my return. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and caring. The pricing is reasonable and affordable. Myownly Kennel in Monroe shall be my kennel of choice when I need to travel outside the region!"

Myownly Boarding Kennel has been a wonderful kennel for our dog. Our dog is very anxious, but the staff at Myownly Kennel is very knowledgeable and experienced and knows exactly how to care for our dog, who requires special handling. They are also very accommodating and support our special requests to drop off and pick up. I never worry about our dog while he stays at Myownly Kennel. They have been in business for over 20 years, which in itself, says a lot about the integrity of their business. The owner, Cathi, is very professional and personally cares about our dog while he is boarding, which is very comforting.

Myownly has been our trusted kennel for the last four years! Our dog has a number of challenges, and the staff there has done a top-notch job of making their kennel our hound's second home. The staff is great and very savvy. They pay attention to detail, our dog's moods and needs, and all of our concerns as owners. Myownly is an excellent place to leave a pet. My dog seems quite happy to visit and equally happy when I pick her up. The facility is clean, the staff friendly. Highly recommended!

Myownly is great! Our dog Kasey loves the people (not so sure about the other dogs, but that's our Kasey.) She is treated with loving care and competence. We always miss her, but we feel perfectly assured that she is in good hands. We live in Mukilteo and never question the trip out to Monroe to board her. Cathy, Marta, the two Ashleys and everyone else are great!

Excellent service! I feel very comfortable leaving my “gentle giant” in Myownly's care. The owner and staff are warm and friendly. They treat my dog like their own. Skipper is always excited to see them. Although I miss my dog very much when he is at Myownly Kennel, I never worry that he is not being cared for. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

A big goofy Newfie and a rescue that is half the Newfoundland's size are both boarded at Myownly. In a previous place the Newf was pushed and shoved and kneed into the cage and began to exhibit some resentment toward the "handlers". We went to Myownly and now both dogs look forward to their visit. We drive quite a way to be sure they are getting good care and it is worth it! The staff is not just kind, they are knowledgeable! What a difference in our boys.

We've tried a number of kennels for our Tibetan Terrier, but Myownly comes up top for service and the unsurpassed attention they give to the pets staying there. We always go back there and have never been disappointed.

| WE LOVE MYOWNLY!! The team is so wonderful and truly caring. We would not trust to have our dog stay with anyone else! We leave on vacations knowing that he is given love and attention. Monte, our pooch, always enters the waiting area by promptly putting his paws up on the counter and saying hello. He always is returned to us bathed and happy!

Cathi Tower Chriscaden and her team are amazing! I drive from Seattle to Monroe to have her groom my Giant Schnauzer. I wouldn't have anyone else groom him. Cathi is also one of the most knowledgeable dog people I have ever met. I know my boy is in great hands at Myownly Kennel!

5 stars! I have taken my dogs to Myownly Boarding Kennel in Monroe for years. I live in Redmond and it's a bit of a drive, but I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The owner and staff of Myownly are completely dedicated to the animals, the facilities are pristine and really big. I love the place! When I go out of town on business or vacation, I have total peace of mind that my animals are being taken care of by Myownly -- with their total attention and care. Also, Myownly has very convenient drop off and pick up times, so that I can pick up or drop off my dogs, even on Sundays. In short, I think it's THE BEST KENNEL IN THE WORLD!

We've used Myownly's services for over 5 years and our dog, especially, has been treated so kindly there. In fact, a few weeks ago, she had to be brought to our vet while at Myownly and Cathi not only drove her there, but advocated for her best care. When released back to Myownly, the entire staff went above and beyond to see to her comfort and nourishment. 5 stars! It's The Country Spa for Our Canine Kids. I have two wire fox terriers, my boy is 14-years-old and has highly-demanding medical and food needs. And, our girl is a former rescue dog, with all sorts of behavioral and emotional complications. It pains me to be away from them, but I have to travel quite a bit, so having a great kennel that can take care of them is critical to us. We have been using MYOWNLY for many years now and couldn't be happier. Not only do they patiently take care of their many specialized needs, but the dogs come home every time clean, rested, and happy--like they truly enjoyed their trip to The Country Dog Spa!! :-)
We live in the city of Seattle, so there are many kennels closer and much more convenient to our home, but I drive without hesitation to Monroe, knowing it's the best kennel I have ever used and that the staff loves my little ones as much as I do.

For the past 37 years I have boarded my beloved pets at all the mid priced kennels to the high priced doggie ranches, and I am writing this to let you know that MYOWNLY is far and away the best choice. Myownly is a 5 star hotel at a 3 star price. Inconvenient for you at 8 miles north of Monroe, it’s very worthwhile for your pet. MYOWNLY is a romantic setting in the country surrounded by green pastures. Inside the kennels are spacious and spotlessly clean. But the best reason I have for leaving my pets there is the staff. Smart, professional, loving and caring with a sense of humor. Cathi, the owner, spent many years assisting some of Puget Sound’s best veterinarians, so she’s a qualified expert on dog care. Marta is her manager and also a great standup comedian. With a family of 4 children, I guess she’s had lots of practice entertaining folks. And the young staff is fresh, friendly, and enthusiastic. My dogs love MYOWNLY so much.

5 stars! The personal care and attention that our dog gets is wonderful at this kennel. Our dog loves them! He is always happy to see the staff and when we pick him up, he is consistently active, happy and well groomed. They clearly treat him well and love having him come. I highly recommend them - it is well worth the drive to take him there.

5 stars! Our dogs have received excellent care from Myownly staff for over ten years. We kennel them there several times every year and also groom them there. Our dogs get excited when they realize that is where we are driving to. When we arrive they pull on the leash to get inside. They are always glad to see the affectionate and caring staff who works there. It is reassuring to know our pets are safe and happy while we are out of town. They get their own vacation! Myownly could be your ownly kennel! We have all confidence in Cathi and her staff. Over the years our dogs have aged and dealt with assorted medical and emotional issues. Myownly provided the compassionate professional resource we needed for a quality of life for our happy dogs. They truly care about our dogs. Myownly's phone number is even on their ID tags something Cathi encourages.
P.S. I agree with reev4sal (another review). Comparable prices, exceptional service. We kennel and groom 3 large dogs. Sometimes more than the plane ticket and worth every penny.

5 stars! A Kennel that really cares. When we first moved to the area I had several bad experiences at other kennels. I finally asked my vet for a recommendation and they referred us to Myownly. I have always been grateful for that referral. The staff at Myownly is knowledgeable and well trained. They know how to work with my dogs and I have absolute trust that they are being well cared for when I leave them there. Even though we have recently moved I still drive the extra distance as I know that I have found a kennel that I can trust staffed with people who know what they are doing and really care. I have come to view Myownly kennel as part of the family when it comes to a place for my pets to visit their friends when I have to travel.

The staff at Myownly is caring and knowledgeable. We have used Myownly for years with several of our dogs. They have helped us with an elder dog, with a puppy, and even with a dog in heat. They go out of their way to assist you and to make sure the dogs are healthy and safe. Their rates are comparable with other facilities (meaning the dog boarding can cost the same as the plane ticket), but the comfort factor we have with that facility makes the rates a good deal. They have big hearts!

Many, many thanks for taking such great care of my elderly dog Izzie while I am away. It is so nice to be able to go off to sea for three weeks knowing that he is not only well taken care of but will even be enjoying his “vacation” in Monroe! It is about an hour’s drive from my house in Seattle up to Myownly, but that drive is worth every second. I really appreciate your care and concern for the animals, your flexibility in scheduling and overall great customer service, and your cheerful willingness to deal with unforeseen situations (forgotten dog food, diarrhea, etc., etc.). We’ll be back soon!

My two dogs, a Duck Tolling Retriever and Lab Rottweiler mix have been boarded here five times this year. The owner and dedicated staff are great and treat all the animals with love and care. The dogs have received plenty of attention, play time and care. When the dogs are here, I know that they are being treated well and cared for properly. When I pick them up, the guys are clean and happy...they have had a great time at "dog camp". HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Our dog, Cady, is a rescue from an auto body shop in New Jersey. She's the Rizzo to my Sandy. If she were our human daughter, we'd probably have to have an intervention on Dr. Phil. She'd be a delinquent and she'd cut you.
Since our first kennel experience didn't work out so well, we searched frantically for a better option for our week-long October trip. A neighbor's dog walker said she took her dogs to Myownly Kennel in Monroe, so off we went for our pre-meeting.
Now Monroe is 70 minutes from our house so that will give you an idea of how desperate we were. We like our vacations. If it were up to Chris, Cady would join us on every one, but sometimes you have to take an airplane and follow other folks' "No Pets" policy.
Our initial meeting was successful, complete with adorable dachshund puppies. These are true dog people who've set up a wonderful facility in the middle of Monroe horse country. Cady was a little reluctant when we dropped her off for her first stay, but Holly was so wonderful that it all went smoothly. We called in from vacation to hear that Cady had been shy at first (all an act, trust me) but had soon come out of her shell and all was well. What a relief!
When we went to pick her up, Holly was very pleased with how it had gone and said Cady was welcome any time. That is music to a dog parent's ears! We went outside to await the release of our crazy canine, but what did we see? Instead of the whirling dervish we used to receive from our kennel in New York, here comes Cady trotting down the center aisle, taking one last demure peek at her kennel mates, sweetly acknowledging us wearing a Halloween bandana tied around her neck. She came out and immediately sat down. I think our jaws were on the floor.
Okay, that lasted for 1.5 seconds and then she started running around with her usual enthusiasm. When we got home, she jumped on the bed and sacked out for the night. Excellent.
